8th Grade Meeting Re-Scheduled

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 13th at 5:30p.m. at the school. The meeting is to plan the end of the year 8th grade dinner/dance. The exact location will be announced later.


Toys for Tots

The Toys for Tots program will begin at Nazareth Academy on Monday, December 1st. You may bring your new, unwrapped toys to Mrs. Pesek's room any time after the 1st until December 11th. This will be the 2nd year that the families of N.A. will help the Marines with this project. It is certainly a worthwhile endeavor. Please remember that the toys must be new and unwrapped.


General HSA Meeting

Our 2nd General HSA Meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, November 12 @ 6:00 PM in the Nazareth Academy playroom. All teachers, parents, and friends of Nazareth Academy are invited to attend.


NA Annual Food Drive

Nazareth Academy is once again sponsoring a food drive for Thanksgiving. All canned and non-perishable foods collected will be taken to the Victoria Food Bank. Collection Boxes will be available throughout the hallways of the school beginning November 3rd. Let's all once again show that incredible "Jets for Jesus spirit of giving" in helping those less fortunate than ourselves. Once again, canned and non-perishable foods only please, beginning Monday, November 3.


8th Grade Graduation Meeting Postponed

Due to a scheduling conflict, the 8th grade graduation meeting has been postponed. It will be re-scheduled in the near future.


OLV Football Game Date Changed

The OLV football game scheduled for Thursday October 16 has been moved up to Wednesday October 15 @ 5:30 PM. The game will still be played at the Field of Dreams complex.


8th Grade Graduation Meeting

There will be a very brief meeting on Wednesday, October 15th to discuss plans for an 8th grade graduation celebration. Many parents are talking about a dinner/dance and if that is what most parents want, we will need to book a location this fall. May is a busy month with many graduation parties and weddings. If you have another idea for an end of the year celebration, we would also like to hear it. The meeting will be held at 5:30pm in the Playroom. If you cannot make the meeting but would like to offer input, please e-mail me at dalvarez@pvahec.org or leave you suggestions in the NA office. Thank you!


The Nazareth Academy Show Returns

The premier of the 3rd season of The Nazareth Academy Show is Saturday, September 20th. The 30-minute show will run back-to-back at 1:30-2pm on ABC (Ch. 4 Suddenlink Cable; Ch. 25 antenna) and 2-2:30pm on FOX (Ch. 3 Suddenlink Cable; Ch. 19 antenna).


Mandatory Football Meeting Scheduled

A mandatory parent football meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, August 20 @ 6:30 PM in the gym. Please attend this important meeting.


Sports Physicals

All students planning to participate in any extra-curricular activity must have a physical from a doctor. Dr. Sandigo will be conducting free sports physicals for Nazareth Academy students this year. The physicals will be performed Thursday, August 14, beginning at 1:00 PM for the boys. Physicals have already been held for the girls. Students and parents should report to the playroom hallway. There will be no make-up day and no free physicals given after these dates. Physicals are for Nazareth Academy students only.


Used Uniform Sale

If you have uniforms in good condition to sell or donate, they can be brought to the school any time between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Please have them securely labeled with your name and the price if you wish to receive the proceeds. If you are in need of a few extra uniform pieces, you will have an opportunity to purchase used uniforms at the used uniform sale on August 6-8 from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM in the school playroom.


Pre-Sale Lunch Tickets Available

Lunch tickets may be purchased in the foyer near the front entrance of the school the week of August 11-15, each day between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Students lunches are $2.50 each and includes a half-pint of milk. Adult lunches are $3.00 each. Drinks and snacks are $0.50. Lunches are sold in increments of 5, 10, 15, and 20 (no singles). Each school day, from 7:30 AM to 8:00 AM, parents and students may purchase lunch and snack tickets at the table set up in the foyer near the front entrance of the school.
